Zoom Phone is a telephone service that is provided over the Zoom platform, in addition to video conferencing.

Below are a set of links to Zoom Phone training videos. In addition, on the side there are user guides for Zoom telephone use. Users may use any headset they prefer. The RCTC technology division supports and recommends the Poly com Voyager line of headsets. Ordering can be done by the end user from either online or a local store. Contact the TSC with any further questions.

- On the right is an image of the poster in every classroom.
- Follow the instructions on the poster to use the phone.
- Calls are limited to internal only with the exception to dial 911
More Information
Previous/old phone system- If you have an old AVAYA phone on your desk, please bring it along with any cords hooked up to the phone down to the TSC.
NOTE: it is NOT required to install the Zoom app on any personal devices. This includes cell phones, laptops and desktops.
There is a supported headset PDF on the right side of this page. This is a list of headsets that the IT dept would recommend for wireless options.
NOTE: The wireless headsets may be purchased on your own, or with the help of the IT dept. The list given is not the only type of wireless headset that will work with Zoom, please reach out to the IT dept with an inquiry with a specific model. You are free to use your own headset as long as it works on a PC.
