Correct Vacation and Sick/Medical Absences, Time Off

  • Step 1. Click the Absence app from your Workday homepage.
  • Step 2. Click Correct My Absence.
  • Step 3. On the timesheet calendar, select the approved time-off you would like to correct.
  • Step 4. Make the desired edits in the pop-up window for the selected time-off and enter a reason for the edits in the Comment section. You may modify items such as:
    • The Type of time
    • The Quantity Per Day – the number of absence hours for the day
    • The Days – you may add or remove days
    • Click Submit. The corrected time-off will route to the appropriate approver for review.
