AwardSpring Scholarship Application Sign-In

AwardSpring, the 3rd-party online application used for the The RCTC Foundation scholarships.

Issue

There is confusion about the various AwardSpring portal sign-in locations.  The Foundation scholarship information and links on their web pages changes often, further confusing scholarship applicants. Tickets may come in about students not being able to access or log into the scholarship portals.

Resolution

Following are the instructions, clearly delineated for the two types of applicants:

New Incoming RCTC Student Scholarship Application:

  1. Visit https://rctcfoundation.awardspring.com/prospective/signin
  2. Click on ‘Register’
  3. After creating an account, applicants will then be re-directed to their AwardSpring scholarship application dashboard.
  4. Prospective students who have previously registered, and are returning to the portal, will login at the SAME link and with the SAME e-mail and password with which they registered.

NOTE:

  • If you are experiencing login issues, please do NOT create multiple accounts. Please contact the RCTC Foundation office for assistance by e-mail at: foundation@rctc.edu.
  • AwardSpring works best with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox

 

Currently Enrolled RCTC Student Scholarship Application:

  1. Visit https://rctcfoundation.awardspring.com
  2. Students will log in with StarID@go.minnstate.edu
  3. Students will then be re-directed to their AwardSpring scholarship application dashboard.

NOTE:

  • A "current" student is one who is currently registered for RCTC courses.  If you've applied and been admitted, but have NOT registered for courses... you are NOT a currently enrolled student.
  • If you are experiencing log-in issues, please submit a Technology Help Request.
  • AwardSpring works best with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox

AwardSpring Portals in short:

  1. Prospective Student Sign-in (For Highschool Students who do NOT have an RCTC star ID or password.)  https://rctcfoundation.awardspring.com/prospective/signin

  2. Current Student Sign-in (Must be ACTIVE Students to access. Authentication is against Office365 Active Directory using StarID and password.   Because it is single-sign-on, if students are already signed in to Office365, there is no need to log in again.)  https://rctcfoundation.awardspring.com/

  3. Separate Admins/Reviewers sign-in (THIS PART WAS SEPARATED OUT from the Current Students sign-in.)  https://rctcfoundation.awardspring.com/signin
