Smart Phone E-mail Setup Instructions

Overview

Instructions for Outlook E-mail settings and setup for smart phones for students and employees.

Before you begin...

  1. Make sure you are connected to Wifi. If on campus, connect to rctcwifi (Password: rctcwifi)
  2. Download the Microsoft Outlook App from the Apple App Store or the Google Playstore.

Instructions

  1. Launch Outlook App then click “Get Started”
  2. Type in your MinnState Student email address: StarID@go.minnstate.edu (Employees: StarID@minnstate.edu)
  3. Type in your StarID password
  4. It may take a few minutes to load in your mailbox

Result

You should be able to access your RCTC E-mail (and calendar) through the Outlook App.
